It Can we take a moment to realize that the year ends 39 days? How did that happen??
So I was tagged by the amazing Eli @AceReader. Her post was super fun to read so be sure to check it out! And thank you so much for tagging me, Eli!
I feel like this year passed over me so darn quickly and I don’t even know what happened. Where did the time go? Why do I feel older?
in order to not get any older while doing this introduction, let’s stop being mesmerized by the end of the year – because we will do that anyways for the rest of the year. Today I present to you: The End Of The Year Book Tag!
Let’s get into it!
Are there any books you started this year that you need to finish?
Umm…no, not really. I did start some books this year that are still on a break but I have no intention of picking them up before the end of the year. That’s because I’m a huge mood reader and now I’m in a Fantasy phase and I’m not going to break it.
Do you have an autumnal book to transition to the end of the year?
Well, I wouldn’t quite call it a ”transition book” but The Diviners by Libba Bray is perfect for Halloween. And I plan to read the next book in the series – Lair of Dreams – next Halloween.
Is there a new release you’re still waiting for?
Oh, Jeez. Now Entering Addamsville by Francesca Zappia. This is one of my most anticipated book of 2019. I adored Eliza and Her Monsters by Francesca Zappia and I can’t wait to see what she does with a Mystery/Thriller/Paranormal. But when I will be actually able to read it, that’s a completely different story. (Probably not this year though cuz now I just want to read all the Fantasy there is.)
What are three books you want to read before the end of the year?
- Siege and Storm by Leigh Bardugo
- Ruin and Rising by Leigh Bardugo
- Tenebrasco by Hannah Reed
It’s my main priority to finish The Shadow and Bone trilogy this year. I also really want to read Tenebrasco which is a book I was sent to review and the synopsis sounds so interesting!! I just want to get to it!
Is there a book you think could still shock you and become your favorite book of the year?
Of course! My Favorites of The Year list is always open, until the last second of 2019. I plan on reading some books I’m really excited about in the next period so everything is possible.
Some possible next favorites:
- The Night Circus by Erin Morgenstern
- The Way I Used To Be by Amber Smith
- The Shadow and Bone trilogy by Leigh Bardugo
- Tenebrasco by Hannah Reed
Have you already started making plans for 2020?
Hello, my middle name is Plans and Organization.
I’ve already started thinking about how my reading should be going in the next year (to tell you some numbers, my reading goal will be around 52 books). Nothing concrete but don’t worry, I am stressed af because the year is ending and 2020 is coming. And I will do an elaborate plan. And a post about it.
So this was all for today! Thank you so much for reading! I hope you enjoyed it!
The end of the year is approaching super quickly, how are you doing? How is your reading? What are some reading plans you have for 2020?
Tell me in the comments!
